Hello
My passion lies in fostering personal growth and resilience. In my practice, I approach each client with empathy and compassion, using evidence-based methods tailored to your unique needs. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I address a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. Together, we’ll create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours to achieve your goals. In addition to my clinical work, I am a lecturer in psychology and enjoy inspiring the next generation of mental health professionals. I enjoy my work, spending time with my family, and snowboarding. My research focuses on digital mental health interventions for optimising treatment in adult emotional disorders, optimizing care, and improving mental health outcomes for Australia’s First Peoples.
I work with individuals 16 years and older. My areas of interest include but are not limited to:
Anxiety and Depression
Adjustment issues, burnout, and occupational stress
Trauma/ PTSD
Confidence, body image, and self-esteem issues
Personality and interpersonal difficulties
ADHD treatment and assessment
Grief and Bereavement
Sleep difficulties
I am trained in the Westerman Aboriginal Symptom Checklists, and have completed training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. I do not typically see the eating disorder or psychosis (or similar) presentations, and I do not provide reports for the court.
I’m Dale
